Cost

The cost structure for produce is simple and is displayed here.  Your annual dollar gross sales determines your monthly payment.  There is a one time fee, which is the same as the monthly payment, for setup.  There is a $25.00 per month charge for each reporting location over 1.

Example 1:  A retail chain may have 5 distribution centers.  If all 5 distribution centers supply data to the FoodTRACE system and their gross annual sales volume is over $100 million then their monthly rate is $1,000 per month PLUS $25 for each reporting location over 1, in this case that is 4, so an additional $100 making their total monthly payment $1,100.  There is an additional one time charge of $1,100 for a setup fee.

Example 2:  A grower/shipper operates in Salinas, Santa Maria, Huron, Oxnard, Imperial Valley and Yuma.  All information comes from the headquarters in Salinas.  Their sales annually are $45 million.  Their sales puts them at $600 per month and even though they operate out of multiple areas, all the information is transferred from their headquarters in Salinas so the number of reporting locations is 1.  Their fee is $600 per month PLUS a one time setup fee of $600.
